They're trying to convince themselves the fa cup is the lowest priority and a lesser trophy than the europa league. It's always hilarious to witness their twisted logic.

One competition has the world champions as the current holders and all of englands top 4 competing in it, the other is a cup almost exclusively for smaller clubs overachieving or bigger clubs failing miserably.

The few Scousers in Liverpool, and the vast majority of Liverpool’s Irish, Norwegian, and Southern fans have now moved from the quadruple to the treble. According to them, Liverpool winning the PL title, the Thursday Night Cup, and the Carabao Cup, is (still) a treble.
It is. 3 trophies = a treble

Shite performance in all honesty, as they were there for the taking. Not the end of the world however. Competing on 4 fronts is border line impossible and I'd much rather be exiting the FA cup in the quarters than fucking up league games, or losing key players in the run in.

We were extremely casual in the second half and lacked a killer instinct. We looked absolutely fucked in extra time, which I suppose is understandable, but concerning non-the-less. Perhaps another sign than it's better to be out to avoid a few more high pressure and competitive games.

City and Arsenal won't be happy that we are out, I'll tell you that much.

Deluded shmuck :)
I’m happy they’re out. Anyone else?

Their up and down performances are very suspicious, aren't they? One week they are running like deranged druggies for 95 minutes, the next week they look geriatric after 75. Strange goings-on over there.

If they really are juiced up, we should have nothing to worry about for the rest of the season. They won't be able to keep it up. 15 months non-stop already since the WC, European Championships in the summer. We will be fine. They will drop points.
