Just reading a book called "All Together Now", which is the story of AFC Wimbledon. They were drawn at home to Liverpool in the FA Cup in 2013/14 and the author (Erik Samuelson, who was CEO) complains that he found it difficult dealing with the police for this game. Why was that?

To quote: "They were adamant that Liverpool fans would try to get in by any means necessary; climb walls, forge tickets, sneak into the ground a day or so before and hide."

Jibbers is as jibbers does..

I first witnessed that lot doing this at Maine Road in August 1962, when we drew the first home game of that dreadful relegation season against The Anfield Road Formation Brick Throwers' Society.

A load of Scouse scallies jumped through the turnstiles at the Scoreboard End. Then when I'd met up with the Old Man on the other side of the turnstiles, a huge mob ran around the area behind the terrace causing mayhem and also flattening one of the programme sellers there, making off with the copies sent flying when the poor bloke was beaten up. Then after the game, no doubt they got on another train back home and had fun wrecking that (..NB for any younger viewers, just Google the history of football train wrecking in the late 50s/early 60s and you'll see the litany of devastation especially caused by Liverpool and Everton fans at the time)

Sixty years on they're still at it, as the Paris CL final proved, even allowing for the failings of the police and authorities that night. When I saw the pictures as the match was delayed, with every aisle in their half of the stadium filled with standing supporters, I said to my friends with me 'They've been doing it for decades' and 'I bet there's a lot of genuine fans with real tickets still outside, unable to get in'.

Jibbers is as jibbers does..

Yeah but it'll be the greatest ever which will wind rags up more than intended target
If will but come August we go again and it’s in the realms of history . If Liverpool had a choice of either winning this title or klopp staying for 2-3seasons what would they choose .
