Slot has a mountain to climb to be honest. With the best will in the world it will take him 2 seasons to build a challenge again. Plus he's new to the PL with an underwhelming record so I wouldn't get too excited.Nipping back over here from "Off Topic" to congratulate City on their 4 in a row. A truly impressive feat. WELL DONE City.
It did make me think of how well Liverpool have done over the last few years to keep up with (almost) and push City to those heights. Obviously barring that one season it would have been 8 in a row. Simply shows the standards that City/Pep has set.
Was nice to actually see Klopp acknowledge City in almost the first proper interview he did with Sky (save for the schmaltzy goodbye stuff), so fair play to him for that.
Would have been nice if we could have kept it as a 3 horse race until today, but still a great season with the competition between City/Arsenal/Liverpool.
I would like to go early and say it....Next season will be ours...but I think there will be alot of rebuilding with the new manager and City will still be there. Who needs KDB or Haaland for so much of theseason anyway????
Now back to the more contentious issue of whether OK Computer is overrated.
Someone else said it was similar to when old pisscan deserted the sinking ship at OT. I don't think it's that bad but in the same ballpark.
