They all do it. The moment an opportunity presents itself they scuttle off, never to return. Cilla Black was notorious for slagging off her birthplace when in private company. Of course publicly she played up to her image as a cheeky, loveable Scouser with a heart of gold, but she fucking hated it there.

After She Loves You, they wrote most of the songs separately, though the songs were credited as being co-compositions, right up until the group split up.

There were notable exceptions, which had parts by both John and Paul, such as A Day In The Life and She’s Leaving Home.
