nothing to do with rivalries but the fact is he has spent over 800m in 8 years and won four trophies, 1 league title in 8 years would get you sacked at most clubs, hes a good manager but some of the conversations he is being put into is nothing short of ludicrous

Tbf, he won only 1 title due to Pep's genius. He finished 2nd with 97 pts and then 92 pts.

His biggest failure is in the games vs Real. Liverpool's squad was (maybe still is) more expensive than Real's, but lost every game/tie vs Real. Compare City's record vs Real with Liverpool's record: day and night.

In hindsight the 21/22 season was so pivotal in how both Pep and Klopp are viewed.
If Liverpool had won the league and CL final that season it would have been
Pep 3 PL titles
Klopp 2 PL titles and 2 CLs.

The majority of people would have considered Klopp to have been the greater success.

Fast forward 18 months and it's
Pep 5 PL titles and 1 CL
Klopp 1 PL title and 1 CL

and any comparison between the 2 now looks comical.
