Poor display again from us I thought, once again only picking up in 2nd half.
Thought VAR got everything pretty much right but that ref himself didn't have the best of games.
I liken Jordan Ayew to a less skilful Bruno in that he falls over at drop of a hat and will do anything to try and annoy the opposition. The whole thing of delaying playing of the ball at free kicks was addressed at start of the season so he must have known that he was liable to be booked for it. The second one was one of the standard fouls given away when teams try to break. He could have got away with it on another day, but the ref chose to give him the second yellow. I did though think back to something similar that Konate did in the derby and sodid have a degree of sympathy for him.
So think we got away with another sub par performance today.....and then the day got even better with Bournemouth bringing a huge smile to my face. I just hope Trafford United play as poorly next week.

You see delaying the free kick several times every game. I'm not saying it's ok but for example Rice did it tonight. McGinn kicked it against him. No yellow.

I thought the second was harsh it was hardly a cynical on the break type foul.

Regardless, refereeing, the handball rule and var are all awful

I caught about 11-13 mins of the game and saw 4 bookable offences, only 2 were given to palace and gapko who could have got 2 in that time frame for nowt
