Sandown last year at The tingle creek was carnage.Since then they have put in the dogs and extra security and it seems to be working. There was a group of lads who were hammered on saturday who were refused entry.Excessive drinking and drugs do not mix with gambling.
And do not mix with the majority who want to enjoy a few pinnts and the sport with good pAls and family. My father law is 80 now. Always was a big race goer, not a huge gambler but followed the sport properly. Used to be enjoyable going to the races with him and his mates as it was insightful and they were funny blokes. Coked up travellers ruined it for them. None of them ho, even the younger lot in their late 50' because it just makes for a shite experience. Seeing fat coked up travellers pretending to be bare knuckle fighters ...embarrassing. sad loss to racing though losing these genuine followers. Football away days are slipping into this. Coke and alcohol together is a terrible chemical ..makes the majority on it just sound like a boring cnt...surely that's a bad strap line. Doesn't put people off mind

Funny isn’t it since that ruled out goal at spurs and klopp losing his shit. Things have started to go their way. Didn’t see that coming
Thats the game.. allow such a circus and lo and behold.... arteta tried it but as he genuinely is so unlikeable he doesn't have the 'nstion' i.e. all of 'meeja' backing him..... Guardiola does the right thing...knowing we don't get the same " meeja" fawning over us so just lets the game play out.

Could do with them drawing their next two games - with the added bonus of it would probably keep Ten Bob in charge for a bit longer

What a mess. The Jockey Club don’t help though. They have just announced that Pete Tong will be playing his Ibiza Classics show after racing at a number of their courses. And they sit there and wonder why there is a drug problem FFS!
What type of audience do they think that will attract.

I stay away from the meetings with music god forbid they ever do it with jump racing. It is a society problem that has become accepted.Young ones at work dont even try and disguise the fact they are going on the sniff on a night out.No different to when we were young a few pints and chasing girls.
As some one else said footie away days are going down the same route, never seen so much blue on blue fighting eapecially at wembley.

I went to Haydock when the Scissor Sisters were playing afterwards. No problem during the racing, but as soon as the concert started the atmosphere all got a bit dark & aggressive. I was with the Mrs so we just went home. Couldn't be doing with it.

Fortunately, I think the jump racing will escape it, as the season is generally in the winter. I've just had a quick look on the Jockey Club website and all of the concerts are in June, July & August of next year. Having said that, I was at the Cheltenham festival last year, and they had a Radio One DJ playing sets, from a speedboat just inside the tented village. The Bentley showroom on one side and Boodles the Jewellers on the other. What the fuck is all that about?
