I've said this before, but I was in the east stand for the Villa game. A kid a couple of rows in front started shouting “We're gonna be champions!” giving it the big one and all. I think Dzeko had just scored, but I might be wrong, it might still have been 0-0. He was roundly told to shut it by everyone around him.

Don’t know if anyone has a picture of it but I’ve seen Liverpool champions 2024 mugs cropping up on the internet when they were top a few weeks back.

Why as a football club do they think something is won in March? The cringey ‘Don’t let this slip’ huddle when they beat us at Anfield in 2014 is another example of their inferior winning mindset. Nothing is done yet and there’s still loads of football to play.

Because they live in cloud cuckoo-land. Where everything is rosy in the garden and the birds are always singing, there's sunshine and lollypops, families enjoying picnics in the parks and it's a wonderful place to live - a bit like 'Demolition Man' on candy floss.
And as you skip gaily along the 'Yell At a Brick Road,' white spindly arms linked up with your bestest mates in the whole world, you can hear the faint echoes of Brian Cant (for us oldies) welcoming everyone to Play School.

And there, at the very end of your travels, you find a huge monolith-type sculpture: a gigantic replica of Gormley's Angel of the North, towering over the skyline clad in a shell suit, wearing a permed mullet and sporting a thick moustache.

The residents had this monument erected as a tribute to KingDip, the founder and lifelong president of Dipperland.
