I used to despise Liverpool fans but as we've competed with each other then I've grown to respect them more (the ones in real life I mean, RAWK is a shitshow). Not early on but in the last couple of seasons. A good example is their reaction to our blip in form recently and their excellent form - the ones that I know who are all long term season ticket holders, they refused to get carried away, weren't ripping the piss and being all dramatic like Arsenal and United fans. They understood that blips in November don't mean anything in April and that City will come back strong. Just in the same way that I think a lot of people here are more worried about Liverpool for the title than Arsenal because we respect the mental strength of Liverpool to compete in that week to week grinding perfection that we've both had and you need in order to win the league. Again, they're not my favourite people in the world and I used to hate them before the takeover even more than United but I've gained a respect for their accomplishments in the last few years and their ability to push us which I don't believe Arsenal have as a fanbase. Arsenal's fanbase reminds me of us in 2010 in terms of anxiety but with an incredible arrogance about their place in football
