They looked flat out there, didn't they? I have to say that the international break saved them. If they had to play mid week, I think Everton would smash them.

If they were in a proper title race this season, I think they'd get reeled in at this point.

The gap is too big now though, they've got so far ahead on the fact we are shite and Arsenal had something taken out of them by battling City the previous two years. Chelsea and Forest aren't quite good enough either.

They've had a free run at a title with room for error at the end. Credit to them for capitalising on everyone else under performing but they'll never have it that easy again anytime soon.

I reckon we'd have been better, and would have put pressure on the top 2 if the 3 signings we made in January would have been done in the summer.
They could have had the pre-season to settle in, and make an impact from the off.
I truly believe each one of them will be great players for years to come.
We'd have definitely been toe to toe with Arsenal at the very least.

They ran out of steam at the start of February and have done incredible well injury wise all season.

The warning signs were there when Wolves managed 16 shots on goal at Anfield.

Some tough away games coming up for them with Brighton, Fulham and Chelsea on the horizon as well.

I still think they will win the league but I do think the difference between them and second will be down to around 5 points by the end of the season.

If Salah and Trent leave in the summer they have some rebuild on their hands..bigger than ours.

Yeah there's no way they'd have beaten a reasonably consistent City to the title.

Even this season if we were what was our usual selves and 6/7/8 points behind with 9 games to go I'd fancy us to end up on top.
