There's going to be a million genuine Liverpudlians at the parade. Honest, there is.

Has anyone else noticed? Liverpool always seem to have their parades on a Bank Holiday Monday, whilst our parades are on a normal working Monday night. Why is that?

This means more.

Wouldn't make any difference to them lot though.

None of our parades have been on a bank holiday ?

Parades are normally on the Monday your teams season finishes, so the players can get off on their summers.

united are having theirs somewhere in the far east.....not sure if it's on a PH.

Flights fully booked from Norway and Ireland. Ferries fully booked from Ireland. Roads packed from North Wales.

I'm getting old. I can't remember a recent bank holiday Monday parade. I can remember loads of Monday night parades, especially with Albert Square closed off for the town hall refurbishment. Hopefully once the town hall refurbishment is done, and St Pete's Square is open again, we'll win a trophy and have a bank holiday Monday parade.

I remember the tall ships being on in Liverpool when the parade was on. That boosted the parade numbers by 10,000's. But according to Liverpool fans, it was all Liverpool fans.

500,000 people were in the parade when ireland came home from Italia 90 after beating nobody in normal time
England came home to 300,000 people after reaching the semi final
So are Irish fans better than English according according to the scouse cultists?

There'll be that much plastic in Scouseland today the green party should have put a 20p carbon tax levy on all journeys in the north west

25,000 scousers and the rest are a mix of Irish, Cockneys, Yorkshiremen, Germans, Norwegians, Africans and Americans.

I didn't think we had. Which is strange, or just very unlucky. Anyway, let's make next season's title parade a dry bank holiday. :-)
It will depend when our season ends, if it's after the CL it won't be a bank holiday as the final is May 30th, so after the bank holiday.

If it's after the last PL game it might be, as that is Sunday 24th May, the FA Cup final is like this year, the week before.

Like this season, we might not have one ;-)

Oh and it's a World Cup summer.

I thought they had already had it tbh. Was listening to the radio before and all they talked about was Palace having a parade for winning the fa cup. They mentioned other teams were having theirs too I suppose.

How many are they claiming are there then?

I think they claimed a million last time, so it’s got to outdo that.

Two mill might be pushing believability.

I’m going for 1.5M.

The Scouse lie will be, it was like the Strand, the end of the parade, all the way around the parade.

When in reality.....

I didn't see that many Keystone Cops when Liverpool fans attacked City's coach. Most of them were sat in their riot vans, whilst Liverpool fans were stood on the riot van roofs attacking City's coach.
