Rodders red last season.....I'm just not surprised, that's the sad thing. He should have been sent off for not doing him good and proper. Havertz is a complete and utter twat.

Liverpool and England's Trent Alexander-Arnold says he wants to be the first full-back to win the Ballon d'Or and be remembered as the "greatest right-back to have played football".

No full-back has won the world player of the year award, which was first presented in 1956.
Alexander-Arnold, 26, said he would chose winning a Ballon d'Or over lifting the World Cup with England.
"I believe I can," Alexander-Arnold, told Sky Sports, external. "I want to be the first full-back to ever do it.
"It's only the morning after you retire that you're able to look in the mirror and say, 'I gave it everything I got'.
"It doesn't matter how many trophies you win, or how many medals you've got. It matters what you give to the game and if you reach your full potential."
Real Madrid legend Roberto Carlos, who played at left-back, was second in the 2002 Ballon d'Or, which was won by Brazil team-mate Ronaldo after their World Cup triumph that year.
England's Lucy Bronze, a right-back, came second to USA's Megan Rapinoe in the women's award in 2019.
Two full-backs have been nominated for the men's 2024 award - Spain and Real Madrid defender Dani Carvajal and Spain and Bayer Leverkusen's Alejandro Grimaldo. The ceremony takes place on Monday.
Real Madrid are reported to be interested in signing Alexander-Arnold, who is out of contract at the end of this season.
He has won the Premier League, Champions League, FA Cup and Carabao Cup at Liverpool, his boyhood club, and made more than 300 appearances.
Former England manager Gareth Southgate occasionally played Alexander-Arnold in midfield, including during Euro 2024.
Asked how he wants to be remembered after he retires, Alexander-Arnold said: "A legend of football, someone who changed the game.
"That is the main thing that I have - 'don't play the game; change the game'. I want that legacy of being the greatest right-back to have played football.
"I have got to reach for the stars and that's where I believe my ceiling can go."
I'm not writing Arsenal off just yet - when they concentrate on actually playing football, they're a very good side but I think discipline is a huge issue for them, and that all seems to come from the manager.Bigger threat than Arsenal for me..
there in catch 22 they bummed bingo's underdogs up so much this lad has them more controlled and easy on eye and doing betterI'm not writing Arsenal off just yet - when they concentrate on actually playing football, they're a very good side but I think discipline is a huge issue for them, and that all seems to come from the manager.
Liverpool are definitely a threat IMO. Slot seems far more level-headed than Arteta and that could be key. What I find weird is that many people associated with Liverpool are down-playing their title chances. Normally you'd expect them to be giddy as fuck, especially the fans.
BUT, he's not really able to beat a man with skill, he can only do it with speed, so in reality he's just a decent crosser of the ball who, if playing as a winger, isn't really able to get himself into crossing positions.I think he is a good offensive player & his crossing & deadball skills are really good, but he is a very limited defender & should be nowhere near a conversation regarding ballon dor.
A very limited midfield player as well.BUT, he's not really able to beat a man with skill, he can only do it with speed, so in reality he's just a decent crosser of the ball who, if playing as a winger, isn't really able to get himself into crossing positions.
No pitch awareness either, so as a defender he's a liability.
He's almost the textbook definition of a luxury player, total liability to the team in whatever position he's asked to play, but he can hit a decent long pass.
Arteta's playing the small margins card, as he seems to believe that's all he needs to get the extra point (or 6 ;) they need to get their noses past us at the end of the season.I think Arteta has some explaining to do. The amount of time-wasting from them is obviously orchestrated, probably worked on in the training sessions. But the question is why? He's got a decent squad with some very good players, he's not tactically naive and he's obviously learnt well from the master, so why such negativity? And on such a scale?
He cannot justify the amount of pretend injuries his players 'suffer' throughout a game, nor the overly-blatant time-wasting from the 'keeper, so there has to be some reasoning behind his thinking, but whatever it is it's having a detrimental effect upon the club as a whole. They have now become a byword for underhanded treachery by most football fans that I know of - fans that were totally indifferent to them before.
I suspect its because that apart from the game against the Rags, we haven't actually blown teams away. All the games have been close and have been a bit nervy near the end. The Chelsea game and Sundays draw were the only games against teams that would or should be near the top at the end of the season. Therefore nothing to get excited about.I'm not writing Arsenal off just yet - when they concentrate on actually playing football, they're a very good side but I think discipline is a huge issue for them, and that all seems to come from the manager.

Part of me thinks the fact that Conor Bradley is a decent replacement and certainly a better defender, is why they don't seem to be busting a gut to get him signed again.BUT, he's not really able to beat a man with skill, he can only do it with speed, so in reality he's just a decent crosser of the ball who, if playing as a winger, isn't really able to get himself into crossing positions.
