FSG probably don’t want to offer a big money deal to a thirty something for more than a year. Interesting development though.
If they haven't discussed it with him then how do they know what he wants? I find it hard to believe no conversations have taken place at all, and as for his age he seems remarkably fit and not injury prone at all.

They should be doing all they can to keep him, he's in fantastic shape, will score goals for another 2-3 seasons easily. Seems a bit strange that they haven't sorted it out already, but I think it's inevitable he will stay.

Have to be honest, I thought they'd be in for a period of transition after losing the greatest manager ever to have graced the English game. But they're not missing him at all.
Slot's going to make Klopp look a right twat if he goes on to win the league in his first season.

We really need to get something when we play them on Sunday. A win would be great, but I'd take a point due to our form at the moment. 8 points is a lot but wouldn't be insurmountable as it could be their turn to start picking up injuries soon, but if we lose and it becomes 11 I do feel that will be too much.

He doesn't need to win the league to make klopp look a right twat, he manages that himself.

also a penalty awarded to Southampton that shouldn’t have been given but not much made of that anywhere either
On the line is a penalty.

Funny that two weeks ago you were allowed to pull a shirt of it wasn’t prolonged, apparently that was the new rule when Bradley dragged Torres to the ground.
But yesterdays wasn’t a penalty because Armstrong pulled a shirt for a split second apparently while being fouled

Rule must have changed again during international break
