AFAIK the agents fees are paid by the clubs. I would guess that Salah has been told he can get £x and the agent will be the one doing the negotiating.
the clubs pay the agent fees but in the grand scheme of things if salah wanted to stay he could tell the agent to just get the deal done, but he probably knows himself that he has them over a barrel in terms of he is by far and away their best player and the fans will be clammering for them to give him whatever he wants and wont be thinking about the long term of the club, it has a ring of the ronaldos about it.

the issue with salah is that he has them over a barrel, they had to pay him 350k a week to stay last time and he will ask for plenty more than that this time and then its how that affects the club as a whole
I would not mind us paying him 500k a week, the dude is relentless.

I think they would miss Salah a lot more than Tront. I personally have always found the latter to be overrated: he's a small cog in a big machine and I have no doubt the dipper hierarchy have already got wheels in motion for his replacement. But finding a goal scoring replacement for Salah is going to be impossible.

They are a great team who will win the PL easy this season .
The reason they are so great is they replaced the team and did it very well something we should do and hopefully will.

they are young fresh and hungry , but this costs .But because its Liverpool the media darlings no one talks about that.
so I will.
the team that plays now .
Goalkeepers: 67 M
Defenders:135 M
Midfield :151 M
Forwards: 277 M

So the squat costs : 630 M

The Midfield and the forwards - Salah are all new . Slot looks very good manager but he sure was given a good team to work with.

Sit ups are cheaper!

Salah the amount of games he has played and he still plays looks like a 25 year old not lost any pace!
Yep, it's hard to overestimate just how much it's worth to have your best players available all the time.

Until this season, you could say the same about Rodri, Bernardo, Walker, even Fernandinho back in the day. They were simply always available. Meanwhile, we've limped to titles that we should have won comfortably in spite of the injury problems of players like Aguero, Kompany and De Bruyne. If John Stones was always fit, I honestly reckon we'd be talking about him as an all-time PL great. But as it is, he's only played over 20 league games in a season in four of his eight seasons with us, and the most he's ever managed is 27.

Salah not close to a deal apparently, that's going to be some replacing job they have.
as i said earlier he has them over a barrel, he is their best player by an absolute mile and can ask for absolutely anything and if they say no, the dippers will go mad, and if they give it him theyll have to give close to van disney and allison, they have walked into a bit of a mess.

It's reported that he can talk to foreign clubs if he wants to and sign a deal for next year, what puzzles me is why can't he speak to English clubs?

Is it just a contractual thing or a scouse thing?

its a contractual thing, you can speak to clubs in foreign countries six months before your deal ends but not english ones until its ended.

Not only that, but Luis Diaz is on a reported £55k a week and wants out (possibly PSG) because FSG refuse to pay him close to the levels of their other top earners.

I sense it'll be a one season wonder for Slot, and they'll struggle to maintain or repeat this level next season.

The Prem is theirs for the taking, hopefully they'll fall short in their quest for the Treble/Centurions.

If they don't reach an agreement with Salah, and he leaves at the end of the season, how the hell will they replace him? They'll get nothing for him, with him being out of contract. Newcastle have said that they wouldn't accept anything less than £150 for Isak. Same for us re Haaland (substantially more, I'd imagine). That's the sort of figure they'd need to shell out for a top notch replacement. Rashford on the cheap, maybe?

A tough position for Liverpool. He's 33 in the summer and an absolute shoo-in to become the next poster boy for the Saudi league.. What's Ronaldo on? 3 mil plus a week?

Klopp was an absolute whopper but fair fucks to him overseeing the rebuild and not leaving them when they had Keita, Fabinho and Henderson in midfield. Built a couple of great squads there.

Let’s hope Pep and Viana do similar here.

I would bet everything I own on him staying. He's desperate, hence the repeated media drops. It's a bizarre situation, but Michael Edwards actually has HIM over a barrel.
He's at the best club in Europe right now and he wants every Liverpool and Premier league record there is. Edwards knows this and Salah hates it!

Where would he go???
