Aww thats cute that you believe that, another deluded dipper whod have thought it, half a good season and you're the best club in europe again, never learn you lot do you.

Theres plenty of clubs he could go too and if he think he cares bout lpool and pl records explain why you had to up his wage to 350k a week last time he renewed, you lot really are a deluded bunch arent you.

How can they even look better after Klopp left but United keep changing manager and even look worse ? Players like Gakpo/Diaz were average last season yet Gakpo looks like world beater in that LW position.

The only player who remained shit was Nunez that even the new manager don't even think about subbing him. Everyone else improved so much even Gravenberch looked like a flop last season yet he's playing like a prime Vieira.

The only weakness they have right now is Robertson looks like he's finished due to age. So them getting a LB like Robinson from Fulham is gonna improve them so much.

I think its the contrast/combination in styles. Slott has a calmer more controlled way of playing but they still have klopps run like fuck DNA. It’s in a golden zone right now of the two. I think as Slotts ways inbeds more they will slow down and not be as frantic or explosive which is their power.

Bit like when Martinez took over from Moyes at Everton. They had a golden initial period where Moyes’ shackles were off for Martinez more attacking play but the players still defended like a Moyes team so they had the best of both worlds. Then the Moyes training was coached out and they went to shit when martinez got his own teachings into them.

Not saying liverpool will go to shit but I think they fall off a little.

I would bet everything I own on him staying. He's desperate, hence the repeated media drops. It's a bizarre situation, but Michael Edwards actually has HIM over a barrel.
He's at the best club in Europe right now and he wants every Liverpool and Premier league record there is. Edwards knows this and Salah hates it!

Where would he go???

He's already agreed to Saudi and will gladly take that bet.

He decided to wait last year.

Liverpool are doing very well in an unspectacular way. Given the poor form of everyone else their consistency and lack of injuries, to Salah, in particular. will, I think, see them do enough to secure the title in a very poor league.

If Liverpool dont win the league in Salah and Trents last season at a time when City are due a complete rebuild they never will. Bizarelly with Slot being well grounded and Arsenals thuggery at the Etihad this year i hope they do!

Everywhere.

I like reading it though because I can't believe how deluded a lot of you are. It's like a car crash. I cant look away.
Everywhere eh - we have plenty of genuine supporters from other clubs actively involved in discussions on here.
213 messages since 2018 suggests otherwise.
Strange you've become so obsessed this season - now why would that be????
Anyway - you're now ignored so don't bother with a reply.

I agree mate . Tbh I’m not too fussed about Liverpool winning this year as they are by a country mile the best team and mo salah is having great season . Up there with kdb as best import ever .

They are a great team who will win the PL easy this season .
The reason they are so great is they replaced the team and did it very well something we should do and hopefully will.

they are young fresh and hungry , but this costs .But because its Liverpool the media darlings no one talks about that.
so I will.
the team that plays now .
Goalkeepers: 67 M
Defenders:135 M
Midfield :151 M
Forwards: 277 M

So the squat costs : 630 M

The Midfield and the forwards - Salah are all new . Slot looks very good manager but he sure was given a good team to work with.

Yep, they rebuilt their squad well.

Us having the likes of Gundo on the pitch for us is like them bringing back Fabinho or Henderson. Not comparing their qualities, just in the sense that they moved on from players who aren't capable at that level anymore. The dippers knew exactly what parts of the squad needed replacing and did exactly that.

They've spent a lot but spent well and have a very solid squad.

Still, it helps them that we've hit a wall, Arsenal have dropped from the past two seasons and Chelsea aren't strong enough to stay consistent.

Liverpool couldn't have wished for a clearer run to the title, but that doesn't take away the fact they're deserve some credit for capitalising on it.

Let's see what they're really made of next season if we are back to our best and if teams like Chelsea continue to improve.

Seasons like this one happen now and again, when the top teams aren't really up to par and one team gets a fairly clear run at the title.

Sorry fella but think you have had one to many Bristol Creams over the festive period.
There is zero desperation about Mo. He knows he can sit and wait for the Liverpool board/owners to blink....and if they leave it too late he can head off to foreign leagues where teams aren't hindered by FFR/PSR.
As someone else pointed out, the prices for proven Premier League goal scorers would be £80-90mill plus. Isak/Haaland both £100 mill plus. That is money that EPL clubs cannot spend without wrecking the rest of their team.
It has to be looked at in terms of the cost of replacement and if you change what you would spend this year on a replacement, into wages/signing fee, then it is a no brainer (IMO) that its the club that is or should be desperate to get him signed.
My suspicion/hope is that they will see sense and offer him a slight pay hike and a perhaps a 2-3 year deal. I hope that it is just the length of deal that is the sticking point and can be resolved.

The same situation is true I think for VVD and so I hope they do get that sorted. As for TAA, I think he is gone already with Bellingham having done the groundwork over the last few England squads. If RM want him now I would take anything we can get as I think otherwise he will be gone for free in the summer..

Lets just hope that "this year is our year" and 2025 brings title #20. Still too early as I recall previous fights with City when we have gone a month without a win (Nightmare November /Jittery January I think the media called them). With Gomez likely out for a few weeks now and Konate/Bradley still recovering there is something of a shortage at the back. As City have found with the loss of your brightest and best, the cover cannot quite match the quality of Dias/Stones.

I like this one, from rawkof course......
This season certainly feels more relaxing without the worry of them breathing down our necks. The chances of them going on one of their long winning runs are also pretty much zero, so Arne and the team just need to stay focused and keep racking up the points.

I think they might have a mini revival and pick up results in the coming games, as their next little run is West Ham, Salford, Brentford and Ipswich. But they have a brutal run starting at the end of January where they'll play PSG, Chelsea, Arsenal, Newcastle, us, and Spurs in the space of 4 weeks. If they lose to PSG then their final CL game against Brugge is must-win which really heaps the pressure on.

Wherever they end up in May (hopefully in another league), I'm glad they've had this poor run of form, as it's brought out the very worst of the players and manager. The team pretty much downing tools and not even bothering to track back or get tackles in. Guardiola playing the victim and publicly seeking sympathy by referring to stress, sleep, not being sure what to do, and plenty of other excuses which you'd never see Jurgen or Arne doing in a million years. Guardiola's recent statment that the club 'needs help' in the January transfer window must be the least self-aware comment made by any manager in history - literally one of the worst and most ironic things he could say when his club is facing over a hundred charges of financial malpractice. Once again showing his arrogance, and inability to face the reality of the fraud that he and his team have been shown to be.

I hope they have a trophyless season, finish outside the top 6, lose De Bruyne (and several others) in the summer, and of course - get a severe punishment for the 115 charges. It would mean that they go out with a whimper and will be remembered as a weak and soulless club when the going got tough - just as it should be. Guardiola's legacy is already massively under threat, and this season could prove what everyone has known all along - that on a level playing field he is bang average, and his teams are entirely beatable. Without all the cheat codes he's no better than some of the ofther decent managers in the PL, and his 'genius' tactics have always been based on having the very best players available in all positions and drilling them to pass other teams to death.

This could be a defining season in so many ways - the world seeing how exciting the league can be when it's a level playing field, Utd firmly planting themselves in obscurity with no European football, and hopefully us winning the title after eveyrone thought we'd fall off a cliff after Jurgen.

It's been a long wait for verdicts, and I seriously hope the punishment fits the crime.

What ever punishment we received for the made up charges.
Will be nothing compared to killing our own fans and 39 Italians.
So fuck off you murdering self pity bastards

Give it until late February when it's clear the title has been handed to them, they'll ramp up the self pity and demand worship as the greatest ever. The title has been handed to them this year, theres no doubting that, haven't had to work for it in the slightest and they'll not get the credit a title winning side might otherwise get because of it and this will infuriate those vermin fans who are obsessed with getting outside praise. It won't be known as the year Liverpool won the league, it will be the year city threw it away and Arsenal bottled it once more.

Thats a relatively cheap team for the squad they currently have.
Darwin Nunez is probably the only one that hasn't achieved.
I thought McAllister was a little expensive at the time but he looks like a good acquisition

Also be interesting to see if they are all still suffering from * asthma next season....

Seems to improve their game for two consecutive seasons, then when they all, ahem get better their collective form incredibly has a massive Dip ( see what I did there:-) )....

Fair do this season, capitalising on average from us, not enough competition from Chavs n Arse, but they are getting results and scoring for fun. Cnuts.

I had a good rant to my dear OH ( a non league fan) about the players we've sold and How The Actual Feck did we not go for McAllister. Especially since he was a team mate of Joolians.

infact I do get very very annoyed about our recruitment. Can't we just go and piggyback at Brighton??

Those tw&ts got a bargain with Mac. And he takes a good penalty.

Hard to disagree with this.
