I just worry about what damage this summer tournament could do to us mentally and physically. But Rodri should be back (fingers crossed) and a summer recruitment drive should see us ready to push on againOh definitely, they'll challenge. But it's between us, Arsenal, and Liverpool again. Think Arsenal look the most ready with the right additions but we'll see.
And thanks to the couple of members here for the personal messages of congratulations as it may go against their public postings...but thanks so much ;=DDid they deserve to win the title? yes they did.
Will I congratulate them? Fuck that :)
Something's never change.

As I responded to a couple of PMs, a great day, although there was perhaps a little missing from it, in it not having been a neck & neck race. Although in recent years we lost to you lot twice when going toe to toe, week to week, there was a great degree of satisfaction gained from those runners up. You cannot complain about finishing second when to the strength and quality that City have had over the last decade+. This season would be nice to win the remaining games to make 90+pts
As others have said, its now a case of it being done and dusted and looking forward. Imperative that there is more investment and strengthening for next season. There wasn't the huge investment at the start of this year to make your squad better, but then you also would never have expected the drop off seen on levels of KDB & Foden, that happened. Pep wont let that happen again and whilst you will be saying goodbye to perhaps the best midfielder the Prem has seen, I'm sure that with Rodri back and reinforcements, that its going to be a hell of a lot tighter next year..
The real test will be next year to see if we can retain it. A long way to go before we can claim to be on a par with what you have done.
14 pages of comments in less than 24 hours might suggest different.Nobody is talking about it. Our wins have been met with absolute coverage, especially Aguero and Gundogan.
Nobody cares about this one.
Same. I've flicked on sky sports news 3 times since half 2 and each time it's been about them, switch straight back. It's sickening how the media fawn after these cunts, the ultimate establishment club. Fuck them, we're taking it back next yearI've still seen absolutely nothing from yesterday and won't be watching them lift the trophy. Media blackout till August. If I don't see them lift it, in my bitter blue eyes they never won it. I've still never seen them lift it during COVID and I've never seen Leicester lift it. So, they did not happen
Salah and Van Dijk will both be a year older. They might not be celebrating next year but I think they will be up ther challenging for sure, they don't seem to be going away season after season we say they will drop off which at times they have but they always seem to come back. Regarding salah and van dijk we were all saying they'd fall of once there contract expires and they go elsewhere but they haven't they've decided to stay put. I think salah has a few good seasons left in him myself, Van dijk though I'm not sure he's been showing signs of being at bit dodgy at times this season.
For what it's worth - congrats, hope you enjoyed the day.And thanks to the couple of members here for the personal messages of congratulations as it may go against their public postings...but thanks so much ;=D
