Why are they upset ? he won everything there to be won with them unlike Gerrard and the lads wants a new challenge. He's not even moving to a PL rival but abroad, what do they want ? do they expect players to stay with them forever ?

Why would it not be the hardest decision of his life? He’s moving from the only place he’s lived, moving his family, to a new country in his mid-20s. And he’s hardly going to come out with “yeah fuck it couldn’t have jumped ship quick enough once Madrid came calling”.

Then that's "Going to RM is the hardest...."

You could argue that leaving Liverpool isn't even his decision to take. It's not really in his control.
 
I have to be honest I never thought TAA was a twat, he always speaks well and I had no problem with him.

I think a city player leaving to Madrid would be well worse. They publicly disrespected our club and Rodri at the Ballon d’Or. What have Madrid done to them? Won a few games?

When was the last time one of our best players left in his prime?

Vinnie, Merlin, Sergio, Zaba, Dinho, Kevin, all had their best years at Etihad.

Even the Yorkshire clogger was past his best, when he went to Klanfield.

And there are many more you could add to that list.
