A local player let his contract run down on purpose and left to their European arch enemy. What do you expect them to do ? cheer for him ? if it was a local City top player doing this then there would be boo's. This is different from Sterling, because Liverpool by then were a joke meme club who their best ambition was a top 4 spot.

Seriously?

Madrid are, considering the circumstances and how they faced them in 2 CL finals recently. There was always a rivalry between Madrid and Liverpool until we joined the mix.

Get over yourself mate. He's just helped them win a league title. And he gets booo-ed?!
It's fucking disgraceful behaviour, but what can you expect from a stadium full of fans who specialise in disgraceful behaviour?

Players run down their contracts all the time.
The club, the player and probably the majority of people within the club have obviously known about it for ages.
Everybody who it directly concerns are fine with it.

Then the moment it's made public the "fan base" turn into moral arbiters and after weeks of him being "injured" (taken out of the firing line) it culminates in that classless shit show on Sunday; which tells you why it's been held back from them for so long. They've just won their second Premier league title and their reaction is to boo a lad who's given them everything and been integral in all of their recent success?!

Fucking pathetic, classless bunch of cunts.

And yes, I would've cheered the lad for the years of memories that he'd given me (if he played for my team).

Ok to boo their own players because they've been tapped up by another club then do exactly the same as real to get Frimpong who all of a sudden doesn't want to play for Leverkusen
Or the Southampton players who were encouraged to go on strike in order to force the move to livarpool.

They've been at it for years

They got fined for tapping up Ziege when he was a Middlesbrough player. How long ago was that?

Surprised they got in bother for it but I think it was only because Middlesbrough wouldn't drop it and they were bang to rights.

I disagree.

We're not a feral cult fanbase like the dippers.

The reaction to TAA when he came on the pitch at Klanfield was embarrassing.
