I’m not quite sure what probative value that has to the point in question. This was dated 2011 (and related to conduct that significantly predates that) and Ferdinand’s wife died in 2015.

I have second hand knowledge of Ferdinand’s peccadillos because the friend of a girl I was seeing twenty or so years ago was shagging him back then and had been for a number of years when he was with his wife (pretty sure it wasn’t the female in the link you sent) so I have no doubt whatsoever that he habitually cheated on his wife, but that isn’t the same as him doing so when she was dying of cancer which is a very specific allegation.

I’m not saying he didn’t or couldn’t do such a thing, because I’m sure he could, but it’s a line that gets repeatedly quoted with absolute certainty and I have seen nothing whatsoever to support such an assertion.

What you have provided isn’t the first time someone has provided a link to his wider behaviour to support this allegation when all it serves to do is undermine it.

Not especially bothered about Ferdinand’s reputation, but it’s certainly interesting to observe how people will unquestionably accept something as true, without anything material to support it being in their purview, because they want it to be true.

Just like the 115 charges.

I think you’re right.

The press have a serious problem now that united are absolute dog shit and they can pretend otherwise even if they do squeak CL football they are just about relegation spots. You can’t defend that. So where does that leave the media shills?
All their eggs go into the Liverpool basket. The media fawning and fellatio will only get worse from here on out.

From my understanding, which could be seriously flawed as I don't keep a detailed record of the camel's life, his wife only got a diagnosis of terminal cancer 5 weeks before she died in 2015. Whether there were a series of prior diagnoses which led up to the final one, I have no idea.

So it could be argued that he managed to keep his cock in his pants for those 5 weeks, however before she was diagnosed she still had terminally cancer it was simply just un-diagnosed, sooooooooooooooooooo........ :)

I see this as high risk as both transfers may work, but could go wrong.
To be fair to them they do scout players very well for a certain style
They are acting quickly as well using the energy for winning the league

With the dippers I still get the impression they are like those old Hollywood actresses, Bette Davis etc, whose box office appeal has long since faded and are now reduced to doing the chat-show circuit, or advertising cat food. They want one last hurrah before they fade into obscurity.
This is the dippers: trying to recreate the past, trying bringing back the 80's with their mullets and shell suits, 'Frankie Goes To Great Yarmouth' or whatever.
They only got this last title because of the general apathy of all the would-be contenders, and a lot of help from the officials because David Coote confirmed what we were all saying about them.

I only watched them a few times but I never got the impression they were a Prem-winning side. Slot is no great tactician, he's not even on the same planet as Pep or a few others. He isn't bad, quite the reverse, but tactically he's no great shakes. From what I saw of them it seemed like their only gameplay was to wallop it forward to Salah and hope for the best.
Naturally the media hyped them up beyond recognition, but as with most of the red-shirted clubs, ignore the BBC/ITV bullshit and scratch beneath the surface - not a lot of substance there.

I truly believe it is going to be many years before we see the dippers repeat this season - if ever.
 
They are going to be even stronger next year. They are doing the rebuild in the right way. Sad to say but could learn from them. They have ruthlessly got rid of Henderson, Robertson, Fabinho etc and replaced them all.
