Playing to the crowd.
Vile treatment of a player from the fans when he's fulfilled his contract and never kicked up a fuss to get out of it. What more do you want from a player?
Seems an unnecessary comment from the manager, especially before a home game where they're celebrating a trophy win. Seems he's just sticking a bigger target on Arnold's back.
Even if its true, he should just keep his trap shut, he's leaving anyway, so it's utterly pointless. Seems he just wants play to the crowd by sticking the boot in.
City would never start sticking the boot in to KDB about his capabilities today. We all knows he's being moved on without a renewal because his career is winding down and his legs are going, but Pep aren't the club aren't out there saying he can't cut it anymore and isn't worth the wages. We know it, the club know it too, but it's doesn't need to be said out loud.
Arnold should be delighted to leave them lot. The crowds turning on you is one thing, but your manager sticking a knife in your back when you're on the way out and have to face the fans in two days time, who would wanna be managed by someone like that?
