You lot are like kids, throwing a tantrum because someone says a rival club has a good atmosphere, which it does, especially when the kop kick into gear.

If someone said it about another club with a good atmosphere but aren't considered rivals, nobody would react like that. The only reason you're all crying is because it was said about Liverpool. Very childish mentality.

The fact so many managers and players say it, the ones have to play in such an atmosphere, that holds more weight than biased fans.

Truth is if you're a shrinking violet, you'll not perform there. You need balls of steel to play opposing that intimidating atmosphere.
I will try to be balanced about this. You are suggesting that Anfield is constantly this hostile bear pit in which visiting teams collapse, it just isn’t. When they are on top and things are going their way it can be loud and vibrant. I’ve also been there when they are not on top and it is dead, like anywhere else. What I would say is that if I was a visiting captain winning the toss, I would always turn them round so they were not attacking the Kop in the second half.
Regardless of the atmosphere, they are vermin.

strengthen while they are ahead? what I hope is that they do what Txiki did to go from Bellingham to Rice to Paqueta to Nunes so they go from Wirtz to Mitoma to Maddison and then sign up Smith Rowe.

Apparently the reason the dips fans hate TAA is because he wouldn’t sign a contract with a release fee I.e. £40-£50m. They seem to accept he wants a new challenge but don’t like the idea of him leaving on a free. Jimmy Milner says hello.

Slight difference is that we paid around £20m for Milner and he deliberately ran his contract down so we couldn’t recoup any of it. Different to both Sterling, who they got £49m for, and to Arnold who cost them nothing in the first place. Some of us were understandably a bit pissed off with Milner but the dips made a fortune out of Sterling and got 8 full seasons out of Arnold with no initial outlay. Their fans should be thanking him for his service as he played a full part in winning 9 trophies including two titles and a Champions League. Ungrateful twats.

Have to query where they're suddenly getting the money from to potentially sign frimpong, kerkez and wirtz this summer. Wirtz will be on the big wages without question, they've just given VVD and Salah new wage structure busting contracts and they'll be bringing in nothing for TAA and don't have a plethora of talent to flog either.

Of course the atmosphere at Anfield can be intimidating when the crowd are up for it, just like any other similar sized stadium. There are plenty of games at the Etihad where the atmosphere is flat, and others where it’s electric. Anfield is no different.
Spot-on. It is very quiet except for the biggest games. I lived and worked there for seven years. Proper local LFC fans bemoan the poor atmosphere at Anfield compared to the 70s and 80s when it really was a cauldron of noise.

They can't use the "we don't spend any money" argument anymore that's for sure.

Have you been to Anfield?

Good effort. 7/10. Reel em in!

I'm probably being a bit ungracious, but it kind of feels like no one outside of Dublin, Oslo or Singapore gives a toss they won?

I know people say this about us too, including said bus smashers, but it's almost as if indifference to teams winning outside your own is widespread?

The scousers are seething that the ineptitude of the rags is totally dominating the media and news agenda. Their title is not registering. The fans of both clubs are needy beyond belief, desperate to be adored and told they are great. May we never become like them.

They spent nothing last year and they have a top 5 revenue I'm world football

Guess the question has always been why haven't they always been like this and that falls on their owners

I hope Tront scores a thunderbastard for Real in front of the Kop next season then does the celebration he did at ours.
Speaking of Real…

Surely crooked brain remembers the club official and player quotes from Real last year about the most intimidating and loud atmosphere they’ve ever faced in England?

No? Well not surprisingly really, because it was hardly in the news for long, because what pack of media red cartel shilling whores wants to be shown as a complete hypocrite by mentioning the reality that Real found the atmosphere at the Etihad the most intimidating and loud that they’d ever faced…compared to the ‘under the lights’ snoozefest that occurs at Anfield and the waterfall in their regularly regurgitated ass licking pieces.

This makes me feel sick

Mac Allsiter (26)
Gravenberch (23)
Szoboszlai (24)
Wirtz (22)

Thats a generational midfield for the best part of a decade sorted

Lot of pressure on Rodri being the same player he was because if he's not we can't compete with that

To be fair they will have the Premier League winner’s prize money, which is certainly not something they have been used to having.

Definately the feeling I get. I thought maybe it was the media not having their favourite clubs winning it recently, but the Spurs win seemed more celebrated than the title win. Strange days.

Fear not . Players can loose form or get injured. Anyone playing in a red shirt is portrayed as World Class and Invisible but consistency over several seasons is a rare rare thing . We have just had it and won shedloads but it's not going to happen to any other team any time soon .
