That’s a great piece of film. Some things about Liverpool can be viewed with respect and that is one of them. IIRC, the last public wash-house lasted into the 90s, maybe even the early 00s.

Not sure I subscribe to this 'too many quality players to keep being shit' line if seen chucked around. If it was a simple as the best 11 on paper winning the league we could not bother actually playing any football
