Hugo and those further up the chain of command would have been of the same mind.
 
I think Slot is past caring now. He's seen the writing on the wall and knows he's finished so why the fuck should he bothered if the diving instructor plays or doesn't? He's letting the fans run the show because he's after the payout he'll be entitled to when the season ends.
 
If they come away from Paris anything than a loss , it´s pretty much a miracle. Hopefully they get another hammering.

The both of them were finished years ago. Slot's accomplishment with Bingo's team disguised what most people outside of the cult could see, that both Vain Dick and the Diver were running on empty. It wasn't so noticeable with Salad because he was goal-hanging most of the time anyway. Never tracked back, never really a team player. But fair enough, he was scoring goals, so nobody really noticed that he was slowing down at such an alarming rate.
Not so with Dick. Too many times last season he was beaten for pace, way too often he was so far out of position they were effectively a man down at the back. But he would stand there with his hands on his hips, berating any and all of his teammates rather than accept they were conceding goals because of the frequency of his own schoolboy errors.

The dippers fucked up big time by extending their contracts, but like their red-shirted soulmates they are beyond criticism from our spineless media.
 
Those candle toting grief wallowing scumbags will be gutted tonight. We live rent free in their hateful little minds and after battering em at home in the league and scoring a last minute come from behind winner at their place we’ve now humiliatingly ended their last hope of winning any silverware.

Van Dijk hopelessly out of his depth giving away pens and unable to keep hold of big Erl. The diving Salah, a shadow of his former self, missing chance after chance and embarrassingly unable even to convert a consolation penalty before being subbed off unnoticed as the whole ground rose to Haaland. That nasty little **** Robinson watching it all from the sidelines gutted.

I think the worst thing for them is that their two most recent title wins were at a bit of a canter. When we were toe to toe in the Guardiola/Klopp era we always came out on top. When both teams were at their best, we were just that bit better. They never done us by a point or two - never really bettered us when we were at our pinnacle.
