You could say the same about Pellegrini inheriting Mancini's team.
It was even more pronounced for Slot, as Chiesa on a free (who got almost no minutes) was the only addition to Klopp’s squad

The Pellegrini City team had quite a different look and feel to Mancini’s even in that first season

Five managers in a row now who won the title in their first Premier League season and then either left/got sacked within two years.

Slot - sacked one year after
Conte - sacked one year after
Pellegrini - left two years after
Ancelotti - sacked one year after
Mourinho - left two years after

And although it wasn't his first PL season, Ranieri was sacked eight months after guiding Leicester to the title in his first season.

"¡Ay, caramba!"

Liverpool was crazy spending £500million last summer, only to sack Slot this summer,
I don't get some football clubs chasing the dream and spending fast cash, then sack the manager

The board and owners should be the ones under pressure, allowing it to happen without any thought of what if it fails

God this prick on ssn can talk some shite Anfield wrap lol

I've yet to encounter any that don't

In the car before had talkshite on within 20 mins callers from London, other Southern areas and even a geordie accent all Liverpool fans, all buzzing apparently.

Problem is they left it too long but won't admit that

Iraola is the best available manager in the market.

Sometimes, good managers at Bournemouth levels work great with their players, but once you go to a big club and that has so-called world-class players you get found out very quickly

Iraola is a good manager of young and up-and-coming players, but World Class players are a pain in the arse and will dig you out
