It feels wrong but I almost cheered when Maguire's header hit the net, as once they equalised, like everybody else I thought they'd go on to win it.
I hate both clubs and their fanbases there really isn't much to choose between how awful both of them are. Still seeing the misery on these faces gave me great joy I have to admit.
Me as well. I surprised myself but I laughed out loud at the scousers. I also think it was the best result for City so it capped a great weekend.

Should've signed a centre half instead of Isak.

Van Dijk on his last legs and like Konate, can't play every game.

Who else is there other than Joe Gomez?
Fair point, I also didn't think they needed Wirtz because they haven't played with a player like that for a long time. I always had it in my mind, that one less grafter in midfield might expose the back four, more than in the last few years.

That's why. It was comical because the one team Liverpool absolutely hate to lose to is United. Also the rags aren't a threat to us and haven't been for years. Liverpool are and will continue to be. Let's be honest United absolutely got away with one here. That game should have been about 6-2 to Liverpool. It was a freak result, but they got it, sadly something we can't seem to do at Anfield. There are some signs the rags are improving but whether they can get back to the very top again is debatable.

I thought the Rags played well in the first half. They looked worse when Sesko came on but snatched a goal to win it. I was surprised how shite Kerkez, Isak, Van Dyke were. Liverpool look shattered mentally, like we did before Christmas last season. I think we have a good chance in the league this season.

There's probably more than 1 problem affecting Liverpool but I am surprised that few people have suggested that they might be suffering from a collective lack of intensity that you sometimes see in the season after a team wins a title. I suggest this because it's not just 3-4 players who are under-par but the whole team.

Liverpool have made the mistake of giving Van Djik and Salah huge new contracts given their age. As we saw last season ageing world class players can suddenly fall off a cliff form wise. They are also trying to incorporate too many new players into positions they probably weren't really needed. They are going to have to strengthen their defense and then they will be probably be permanent challengers again.
As for us, I have no idea. This is because too many of our new players haven't been able to settle in because they've been injured. Add on the bloody international breaks which also means we haven't had enough time to gel properly. In spite of all this and after a poor start, there we are in second place. The lack of goals aside from Haaland is a worry but hopefully Marmoush and Cherki can step up once fit. Talking of fit, if we can get Rodri fit and back to his best our chances improve significantly.

That club has won two titles in 30 odd years.
One meant nothing.
When your the champions the pressure is on.
Everyone wants to beat you.
They win it last year mainly down to everyone else been shit.
When you think about us winning not just 3 in a row and the treble.
But to win 4 .
Fuck me unbelievable.
And the European royalty can't handle the pressure from 1

Difference between us the dippers and the rags.
And possibly arsenal is they think they deserve to win something.
They think they have a right to it.
For us.
Everything is a bonus .
But we have pep.
And haaland.
The best manager ever.
And the best goal scoring freak ever

Well, they played Szoboslai at right back last match. Maybe he will do it?

No ones talking about it, losing Alexander Arnold has been a big loss for how they play. The diagonal balls he could hit for their wide men to come in off the flanks doesn’t happen.

If you sit in like United did yesterday it denies Liverpool the space to counter quickly which has been a hallmark of how the play over the last 8 years or so.

The crown of champions can be a heavy one, they are far from being out of the title race just yet. However yoi have to question if they have the mind set to defend the title. They went on the piss for the last few weeks of the season rather than keeping the winning momentum going. City don’t seem to get the plaudits from outside of the club, but what Pep did motivating our lot to win it four times in a row and keeping the players hungry to do it was an unbelievable effort.
They haven't defended a trophy for nearly 40 years

I agree Thatcher was repulsive but it was every major City Town outside the south east and probably some there also that she destroyed so Liverpool fans thinking there hard done to bu her can join the very long queue.
Also why have they started this stance recently
I worked in Liverpool for most of the 80s, mainly because a lot of government money was pumped into the city to create work. They aren't work shy bastards but they are pretty fckin deluded. For some reason, I find this more with the reds than the blues.
