Had to double and then triple check that quote about us as I assumed it was an obvious piss take on account of it being a near perfect parody quote. Incredible that's real.

The berk has just spent £400m, breaking the transfer record twice in a window and thinks he doesnt have enough. That city team he is so envious of had 5 academy graduates feature in it and another one unsued on the bench with the entire starting 11 costing less than what they spent this summer.

He knows his times nearly up. Recent comments are the type managers make when they get desperate.

Failure to win one of his next 3 before the international break and it's curtains.

Spitty Carragher claimed that Erling was afraid of Rudiger when we played Madrid and he stayed on the bench due to an injury.
I sincerely hope that he tells the world that 130 million Isak, 120 million Wirtz and 90 million Ekitike were afraid of the mighty Crystal Palace and requested Slot to keep them out of the squad altogether!
My son used to play.with spitty's lad, I sat with him a few times and he was a right self righteous cun*

I dunno. They put up with Klopp being shite plenty of times without sacking him, despite what the media would have you think.

I can't be doing with scouse pundit arrogance.
And its twin brother, rag pundit arrogance. Fuckers!
I mean literally the opposite of what we expect. Klopp used to go out of the cups early every season because he knew his team wasn't good enough to compete on four fronts. And then still lose to us in the league. Slot is just carrying on that small club mentality.

They never gave Klopp near £500m to spend in a summer. The most any club has ever spent in one window if I am not mistaken. The most by a PL team anyway.

Not one player bar maybe Ekitike has shone, showing he is struggling to develop a team together with the players at his disposal.

It's not like us last season either where we had multiple big game players missing through injuries and multiple key players in sharp decline through age. He only has Allison missing. A big miss, but 6 losses in 7 big miss? Not sure.

Should stick to his adventures to find One Eyed Willy's treasure. Telling people the 'h' is silent so it gets dropped from your surname, isn't fooling anyone.

Hope we give them an absolute tanning, we certainly owe them one. Crowd can turn pretty nasty there on their own team, if things aren't going too well.

Apparently they are 20th out of 20 in the premier league for distance covered per game, but 3rd for number of sprints per game. If true, that's pretty telling. Sounds like Salah all over, but clearly it's not just him. Given the shift in football back to pressing, physicality and athleticism, it doesn't bode well for them.

It is weird however how, just like us last year, the start of the season seemed to be going to plan, and then after a handful of games something happens and reality hits home. Could be coincidence, but my theory is that at the start of the season teams give a bit too much respect to last year's successful teams, before realising they can pick up points and punch holes in them. But as mentioned above, the conditions are very different, and a lot of late goals that early on the season could well have been a sign, we took it to be the bedding on period for the new talent bit in fact was it the smell of desperation in September?

Our slump was before we brought in reinforcements and clearly showed up the implementation of a plan of succession when injuries hit, whereas Sloth is asking for more money to bring in more players after spending half a billion in one window including the world's hottest midfield property and, allegedly, the best striker in the premier league who doesn't play in blue.

It’s a common reaction from a Liverpool manager when they going through a bad period to think I know let’s take a swipe at Man City to take the spotlight off us! Slott ain’t got long he will be sacked if they lose a few more league games because the fans will stop going, they won’t want to fly in from Ireland or Europe to watch a losing team! They have history for that under Hodgson!
