I have a strategy after we loose a game : no football media for 48 hours as it does me no good . Woke up this morning to the results . Thank you Liverpool for cheering me up . Watching Spitty not calling for the managers head because " We don't do that at Liverpool " after he was rabidly and excitedly calling for Peps head on a block/ last season was TV Gold . It was like watching a naughty schoolboy with lame excuses ..."can't criticise our oldest players" but then "why isn't Salah doing the post match interview" . He can't say the dressing room has gone can he . Oh no . This is Liverpool . The bloke looks like he's having an existential crisis .

I'm convinced that Carragher is paid by the scousers to promote certain lines of thought and soften up their fans. Recently it has been non-stop criticism of Salah, almost as though it would be good for liverpool if he were hounded out of the club and they didn't have to honour the exorbitant contract they gave him.

Exactly my thoughts . He is a Liverpool grifter pure and simple. Gerrard was the same on another channel, both looked like they've been caught with their pants down ...all this We Don't do that at Liverpool shit . How hard it is to keep winning after a title win ....hello . 4 in a row . Can dish it out but can't take it . ESPN were more direct and clear, just like the PSV team.

Wait until the very end!

Thats there problem "we have to show that Liverpool is the best team in the world" they never were , why does he think they have to show us they are the best in the world ?
Last season they were nothing special compere to us when we won it and even.compere to Klopp best team .
Best team in the worl my ass the never was and never will .

Tbf to Jones he does speak as a fan, the entitlement in this club is off the scale, 2 PL titles in 30 + years and they genuinely think they are the best club in the world .... delusional.
For someone who doesn’t have the words (and he was fairly emphatic on this point) he certainly seemed able to muster a few up, albeit ones that were replete with absolute horseshit.

Never has an excuse for being shit been in such poor taste, shameless vile bastards.
It’s also worthy of note, that despite the fact they are bottom, and have been terrible all season, not a single pundit has tried to suggest Wolves’ poor form, might, even in part, be down to what happened to Jota. Not one.

Not as immediate, obviously, but I know plenty of Wolves fans who were very upset at what happened.

It’s like they are the only people who are entitled to grieve, and to an extent that ‘means more’.

If there is a God......

That surely has to be a wind-up!

One thing I’ll say about FSG - their managerial appointments have been decent. Bringing Dalglish back to steady the ship after they sacked Hodgson, Rodgers who came within a whisker of winning the league in his second season, Klopp who was the only one to consistently challenge Pep for years and won trophies, and Slot who won the league in his first season, albeit with Klopp’s team. Postecoglou just doesn’t fit the profile of a FSG appointment what with his stock falling so much over the last couple of years.

Be funny as fuck if it happens though!

If you had a magic wand, and could make that happen, given how club defining that unique record is for City, would you?

I’m not sure I would want to share, as hilarious as it would certainly be.
Liverpool Echo: "Liverpool share unique achievement with Manchester City".
