Can you imagine what it’d be like on here if Pep subbed Wirtz for Joe Gomez with 10 mins to go losing by 2 goals?

Matchday thread would have been “lit”, as the youth seem to say.
The website would crash.

Didn't see the game, but just watching the highlights, I notice they scored their first goal 90 seconds after the injury time in the first half had run out, and the final whistle went 4 minutes after the already huge 7 minutes was up. I'm sure that's all above board though.
You must have watched the same highlights as I did to spot those overruns.

Slot exposed for what he is, last year us dropping off, arsenal shitting the bed again and Klopps final squad gelling gifted him a title, this year he has got his own squad together and changing systems, long way to go but his early cop out of other teams and too many away games doesn't show confidence.

Signing fullbacks that can't defend (especially when Salah won't defend either

Signing a #10 when you clearly didn't one as Szoboszlai was already there

Signing two strikers over £200m who are both similar style (which is also similar to Gakpo)

A centre half that has his eye on being in Madrid

Pushing Gravenberch higher up which means there's no one in front of the defence covering.

Going all out in the summer to sign a striker when you've just bought Ekitike instead of signing Guehi earlier

Putting two players over 32 on ridiculous high wages

Letting a workhorse like Diaz leave and properly replacing him

Might of missed more stuff tbh lol
Exactly this! Meanwhile, all the footballing world, pundits, media and even a few on here were harping about "buying from a position of strength". Liverpool were the model club for all the top clubs on how to behave in the transfer window. People here wished we bought like them, ffs!

Well, it took just 4 months to prove (yet again) that football is not played on paper! We have rarely seen 100m+ signings succed massively anywhere. Liverpool are in a real tight mess and it will take some real bottle to get out of it!

No Salah penalty : No party

Ref’s still trying to help them out with the additional extra extra time but it failed today.

Ian Rush could let me T-bag him but i’d still hate the scouse twats

Imagine being them

They gave Brentford a penalty when the ref gave a free kick - no one watching would have deemed that a penalty in real time.

He's that one yard behind now. That's an age thing. He can't carry them like before. saudi is calling

Yep

No doubt he's been an excellent player but last season was last hurrah.

He's losing a bit of sharpness and also he's a lazy **** without the ball. So if he's not coming up with the goods as frequently as he once was, then they're basically carrying a player who doesn't help out and not producing much.

Good goal yesterday to be fair, he will always have flashes of real quality, but it'll be less and less frequent.

Kind of like KDB in a way. You know he's going to produce some quality but you can't hang onto them when they're only playing well once in every half a dozen games. A guaranteed bit of quality now and again just isn't worth the side looking weaker most weekends.

It happens to all the top players eventually and now it's Salah's turn to be on the slide.

Konate is taking all the defensive slagging.
In reality Van Dyke who has always played at 70% ( and been good enough to do so) has finally fallen off a cliff and looks like he is at 50%.
That is the difference.
