Football tonight after showing the PSV will out comes the grief card referencing Jota that female presenter needs to take a good look at herself fks sake

Tbf the Jota thing will have affected the squad I'm sure. Didn't seem to bother them for the first few weeks of the season though, and I fail to see how grief/bereavement causes you to commit a handball that would make maradona blush.

How fucking dare you???

Expect some death threats fella ;-)

Same with TNT.

Made it look like it was all Dipperpool despite the result
That's the danger of having an arse-licking media behind you.
Forest & City both won 3-0 against this shower of shite, but they were lucky or fortunate.
LFC are therefore seen as certain to bounce back, very soon.
But, as we've seen with the "turned the corner" Trafford Tramps, other supposedly inferior teams like Palace and Brentford are no longer scared of them.
Teams have now worked out how to play the Scousers, they will not get into the top 4 with Slot in charge...

Spitty "Liverpool are not a sacking club" (Remember we had that with the Rags also)

Apart from : Houllier (left with a mutual agreement), Benitez (left with a mutual agreement), Hodgson (Sacked), Dalglish 2nd spell (Sacked). Rodgers (Sacked). So before Klopp they had sacked their last 3 managers and 2 prior left by mutual agreement.
Spinning the narrative that the murderers are somehow whiter than white. Absolved of all blame for anything and everything. They’re the way football clubs and football fans should be. They rule football.
Yet the world knows they’re cunts.

It wasn’t mid season to be fair but your point is a good one. We went on to have a poor season in 03/04 after a good start, finishing just a couple of places above the drop zone. But at no point do I remember the fans, players, or Keegan saying it was down to Foe’s death.
It was a terrible first season at the Etihad. No new stadium boost whatsoever. No big home wins I can recall, other than that brilliant 4-1 over united.
You could argue winning the 4th is what’s left us in the position we’re in now. We chased that and remained loyal to several who were clearly approaching the top of the hill, rather than saying three’s enough, let’s do a proper transition/rebuild.

If Pep wins the title or the CL with the likes of Marmoush, Savinho, Bobb, Reijnders and a declining Stones and Dias, I’ll take my hat off to him and accept I’m wrong.

There is hardly anyone in the current squad who gets in the title winning teams of years gone by. Let’s see.
You sound too sad about the fact that, ultimately, what you have posited there means we got to support the very best team to ever play football in this Kingdom.

What a thing to follow as a supporter. How can that ever be anything other than an amazing experience?

I agree . No credit where credit's due.

I heard a good analysis of Slott's tactical ambitions this week .

In summary he has swapped the Klippity Klopp intense counter press, a functional ie . muscular midfield and the long cross field balls from deep to a technical , zippy "progress with possession up the field" Pep style . Problem is that tactic only works if you have several world class players across the park and a team with few egos who must run run run and press press press all over the park like a swarm of bees .

So he replaced departing forwards who were fierce pressers with a target man with a big ego and who needs service but who can't press his own trousers and a kid who plays for himself himself himself . He has disrupted his stable midfield with a lightweight gifted technical player who looks like that kid in the park whose had his scarf stolen and replaced two full backs with great passing ranges to traditional defensive fullbacks who can't pass long or tackle or apparently keep fit enough to play . Only VVD is left to play the sort of ball Salah used to thrive on and he's too busy blaming everyone else to get his head up .

Liverpool often scored after a counter press or the long ball . Now they have switched to Pep Ball / PSG Ball but without a press at all and also when half the team can't / won't play it . Then the manager has the cheek to complain about a low block and counter from the opposition. Where has he been for a season? We were demonstrating the risks of poorly executed possession football against a low block for months .

Watching the wonderful fiascos at Anfield last week and this week was like an action replay of our drop off a cliff last season . Heck he's even put a midfielder in at RB .

Sixes and sevens doesn't even come close . It's delicious .

Not sad mate, it was incredible and I loved it.

Doesn’t alter the fact it’s left us where we are now though. A level below where we were.
