That smacks of a club actively briefing against their own player.

Why would any self-respecting top player even consider signing for them is this is how the club and their fanbase treat the players? It's probably going to end up going the same way for Slot.

And not just historically either. He was literally the best player in the league last season, and arguably enjoyed one of the best individual seasons in PL history. 3 months is all it took for him to turn into a 'luxury player' and a 'liability.'

Nobody cares outside the Republic of Liverpool and associated satellites in ireland, Devon and Scandinavia. BORING
