Same as everywhere, they aren't special or different to anyone else, despite what they think.

It goes to show these "modern soul less bowls" as people who never go to games, call them are better equiped for crowd control.

Think the Etihad and large expanses around the stadium compared to Klanfield and Swamp that have been overdeveloped where the room isn't available.

That Munich tunnel at the Swamp is a fucking death trap for example. Away fans are sitting ducks going in!

Good point . The bag and security check at the Putney End at Fulham was pretty chaotic . The old style turnstile are straight onto the street .

The simple truth is, all Premier League clubs have had to do this for years. It commenced in 2018, 7 years ago !
The dippers refused.
No one said squat because like the rags they are above all laws and regulations.
Finally someone decided enough was enough and they were forced to do what every other PL club is told to do.

My guess is fetal alcohol syndrome. They can be friendly and normal and then suddenly blow a fuse of slight irritation and become extremely violent. He has a history of assault but seemed a reformed character 30 years or so. Ofcourse you don't if he's got away with a fair bit of violence, which seems likely. I can't think of another motivation and I can't see a person without such a condition do something both so violent and so stupid.

I read that the police used Doyles own dashcam footage in the prosecution........FFS!

• Evidence of Dangerous Driving: The initial part of the dashcam footage showed Doyle driving recklessly on his way into the city center, weaving through traffic, undertaking other cars, and running a red light several seconds after it changed, demonstrating a disregard for public safety even before the main incident.

This makes interesting reading given our own issues re season tickets:-

"A tout who called himself "Billy big balls" while colluding with staff in Liverpool FC's ticket office has been jailed. Joseph Johnson hatched a fraudulent scheme which saw passes for games resold at "significantly inflated prices" over the course of several years.

This involved the creation of more than 1,000 LFC memberships using fake names and details, allowing the criminal syndicate to take tickets which had been specially priced at £9 in order to allow fans from the city to attend matches. They were able to generate profits amounting to hundreds of thousands of pounds in doing so, leading to four of their number being locked up today (Wednesday, December 17)."

Computers which were subsequently seized when the premises was raided during the summer of 2020 contained a document which made apparent references to the operation having 250 memberships at Liverpool FC, 100 at each of Manchester United, Arsenal, Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur and 50 at Manchester City. Jurors were also read several further WhatsApp messages which had been exchanged between the defendants, with Louis James referring to Joseph Johnson having an "empire" in one.

One minute the pundits are queuing up to say Liverpool's drop in form is down to grief in the dressing room and then, when their star player whose form has dropped off a cliff, exhibits emotional lability , poor judgement and anger, which is a symptom of grief, it's suddenly all on him .

Ok he's got an ego as big as the moon but the turn around from collective grief to scapegoat is pretty tone deaf from the media . I don't know if his outburst was a hard nosed calculation to get himself out of the club but where is the grief story now ?

Salah has always been careful to stay out of the mix zone and hasn’t spoken to the media until recently. It seemed like he might not get a new contract, and definitely not the one he wanted. Suddenly, he started speaking out against the club to rally the fans, which seemed to work. This season, he did the same thing until he was dropped, but then he made it clear he was available and basically gave a premeditated statement to once again put pressure on the club. Salah cares about Salah, and that’s where it ends.
