Fucking shit, to a man, Pellegrini the worst of the bunch. Why on earth he doesn't seem to realise that midfield is actually quite a useful area of the pitch is beyond me. When the two Fern's are getting overrun in the middle, why the fuck would the solution be to take two of the midfielders of and bring on two more strikers? It makes literally no sense.
I thought we were poor but perfectly safe before the first goal, which Hart should never in a million years let in, but after that we were all over the place. Otamendi and Kompany were awful, as was the complete lack of shape. Pellegrini clearly hasn't set any kind of tactics if he thinks you can just randomly throw strikers on and expect a formation and system to just magically appear. Just shockingly poor stuff.
The shit thing is that we saw in the previous two games this week what we are capable of when we actually have a fucking plan, which makes it all the more annoying that Pellegrini decides to use tactics so infrequently. Fuck this season, let's just hope we can scrape our way into the top four and bring on next season and a manager who actually considers the middle of the pitch being a useful thing to have some fucking control over.
