Dropping Raheem for his return to Anfield after missing those two chances would be an absolutely awful managerial decision.

It would destroy his morale completely, instead of giving him the opportunity to make up for his two misses yesterday.

I agree completely. Manager should have a word with him and say I want you to forget the final and stuff all the abuse down their throats. Excerpts I have read on Raheem suggest he is mentally strong and if so give him a chance to redeem himself.

If we beat them I will piss my sides laughing, that club is the biggest laughing stock in the country.

We definitely need something from this match. We have 12 matches left. The 4 hardest matches appear to be Liverpool , Rags , Arsenal(at home) and Chelsea away.
What we have to understand is that Pellers has said the Champs. League is a priority - and if we beat Kiev (which we should) we will have 2 more games to play in the quarter finals.
Leic. and Spurs have 11 games to play with no more FA Cup games but I see Spurs are still in the Europa. I think Leicester must be favs . at the moment.
Some of you will think the Rags at home should be easy - but they will be very happy with a 0-0 draw.
I would like to see more game time for Ihenacho.

Edit : this seems to be published on page 6 as well ????

We go again!
Yes we go again and a win will set us up nicely for a push for the title. We may have to settle for a draw tired legs etc.
But as long as we secure at least third this year I will be happy after yesterdays victory. That would represent a good return for the season. Clearly if we don't win the league this year it will be disappointing given the way things have turned out but the Final success and the manner of it more than eases the pain.

Realistically, at a ground we haven't won at since 2003, a draw is a good result.

I think we are due a win at Kloppfield, we missed plenty of gilt edge chances we would normally bury, if we play the same way we will win again, but more comfortably.

I'm quite optimistic about our chances as we should be motivated after a cup final win and near certain cl qualification. Our defence is much more solid with Kompany and he brings that leadership and the ability to motivate and improve others around him as well which we lack without him. Ultimately, this is a must-win game and I believe we are due a win at anfield and our big players will start to step up now as we saw at the back end of 2011-12 and 2013-14. Come on city.
