Liverpool vs City - PL2 (now U21)

I‘m assuming a lot of the under 18 champion team have moved up to PL2.

Speaking of which, I couldn’t find a thread for Dire Medube, the under 18 star striker. He and Borges are going to cause havoc in the PL2’s.
Yes, with a similar number from the U16s Champions moving up to the U18s. That includes Alfie Harrison who I'm looking forward to seeing.

Great start and result.

Hopefully Borges makes himself unignorable and Pep is forced to take a look.We could do with a player with his unpredictable brilliance and incredible pace.
Borges already looks like a man playing in a man’s body, something which can rarely be said of players at that level, so I’d be surprised if we don’t see him feature with the first team this season.

Edozie really should have squared that one in the first half, would have been a tap in for Borges.

Oscar Bobb apparentlly played very well in the #10 role. He needs to take this season and dominate it, it seems like he won't go on loan, he has the quality imo.

The trio of Borges, Ogwuru and Mebude will get so many goals and assists this season.

Edozie is in a weird spot, I hope he doesn't stay at EDS. I also prefer him LW over RW but they seem to be playing with classical wingers so I see why he started there.

I've never particularly been impressed by Bobb (this is relative to the others around him) as he's usually played wide left when I've watched him. Perhaps he'll move more centrally now, it was certainly a sweet first goal between him and Mbude. There's some very quick footwork in there.

Agree, although he has quality,he always flatters to deceive and frustrates enormously - very Sterling like in that respect.

Big season for him.....If he can find the consistency and choose his pass better, there is no doubting he could be a player.
