It's basically a cap of what they can charge you per unit of energy. It's a bit like the government telling a pub the maximum they can sell a pint at. But obviously the more you drink the more you pay.How does a 2.5k cap work?
Does that mean I can have my heating on all day every day and I would still only pay the same as someone who doesn't put theirs on as much?
