That comment about not cutting public spending, but making sure it is "spent well" is a smokescreen in my opinion. She's up to something.

Removing employees right to strike. Cut our other protections as well, such as removal of working time directive and holiday uplift pay.

Not cutting spending but spending wisely means cutting spending. She must think we are stupid.

I imagine one trick will be cutting funds for local govt and allowing council's to increase council tax above the pre local referendum limit of 2.99%.

Am I missing something? There is no way they could have allowed them to go even worse.

They are still unaffordable to most of us, especially if you live alone.

This is it, they can lie about the impacts of Brexit, funding of public services and other more complicated issues but there is one thing everyone knows, and that is if something hits them in the pockets. Lies about this will not wash with the public. The Tories are toast.

They're simply borrowing time to try and reconcile the figures before releasing them publicly
