Liz Truss

She wants to reduce tax to help people during the cost of living crisis.
Is she talking about income tax? If so doesn't the thick Moron realise those most in need only pay a small amount of tax (if any) and will therefore see bugger all coming their way to offset high prices. - The same applies if she talks about scrapping the NI increase.
Alternatively is she talking about reducing VAT which isn't applied to food and is already very low on energy.
Have I misunderstood her plans or is she as thick as a whale sandwich?
Cut corporation tax - allow shareholders to receive more dividends, allow executives to receive bigger bonuses.
Cut NI and give the poorest 75p a month and £93 to the richest.
Both meaning that the lowest paid such as cleaners and childcare can get a modest pay rise from the richer classes.
That extra fiver a week can make sure they can choose which day of the month they can turn the heating on in the winter.
Easing the cost of living crisis while giving choices to the people.
Gawd bless her.

And there you have it ........as I forecast when the Tory ''Leadership'' race began

I can’t see why anybody is surprised at this. The only time Conservative party members would vote for a non white person to be PM would be if they could only choose between 2 non white people…………….and I can guarantee a lot of them wouldn’t vote at all if these circumstances should ever miraculously arise.

She isn't thick. Oxford graduate I think. She is well aware of what she is proposing and who it will benefit (and who it wont).

I was using "thick" to describe her if she thought tax reductions would help the poorest in society. I don't doubt she knows who will suffer from her intentions.
