I don't think we'll get one. "We elected the party, not the leader, the local councillors not the leader". I'v seen a couple of cons mps mention that. I think they're going to tough it out because it's better than the alternative.

They really can’t get away with that one.
They made the 2019 GE very much about the leader and how he was the only one who could ‘get brexit done’.
That was their manifesto in total, everything else in it was padding.

Agreed. Remember we could be on the cusp of a Nuclear War on the continent. They are voting for whoever could lead our country through that. The person they are going to vote for lost the previous race to Liz Truss. We are fucked.

81000 Tory members voted for her I agree they should be able to vote for the party leader but ffs not the prime minister. It should be law that when a PM goes it sparks a general election
