Liz Truss

The problem is she is so inept that within 12 months the Tories will realise she can’t win an election and guess who will re-emerge….Bozo. Unfortunately Starmer isn’t up to it and Bozo will convince the dreadfully gullible electorate that he is a reformed man. Andy Burnham is our only hope.

I think you’re underestimating Starmer. His approval ratings are all over the place depending on the pollster but the general trend has been up and he’s currently way ahead of Johnson or Truss. Agree Burnham would be a good choice too.

She's stuck between a rock and a hard place, and it's difficult to see what she can do as PM. She doesn't have universal support in her party, from both MP's and tory members, has filled the cabinet with ERG loons the traditional conservative members in the House of Lords are rightly concerned about, and as she hasn't got a mandate with all the nonesense she claims she wants to introduce, the upper chamber will block the more excessive policies her ERG masters want her to pass into legislation.

Her whole time in office will be beset by defeat and division, and the tories like nothing more than eating themselves as they see their poll ratings drop and their chances of re-election crumble into dust. A significant number of tory MP's that won in the red wall seats have wafer thin majorities, less than 1,000 votes in most constiuences, and they will be looking at her approval ratings with a keen eye.

The tories are significantly behind Labour in the polls at the moment. It is going to be a difficult winter for millions of people, and a Prime Minister without any charisma, effective debating abilities, or any sort of plan other than ,We'll be looking ino it', is going to find life in the new year very tough.

I doubt Bozo will re-emerge as her chief adversary in any sort of leadership campaign as the tories scramble to hold onto office. He compromised the integrity of so many MP's that were deeply unhappy at having to basically lie through their teeth in support of him, which ultimately brought on his downfall, he won't receive enough votes from them for him to progress into the later stages of the leadership campaign.

As for Andy Burnham. Yes, I agree. He isn't an MP though.

Tories will do what they always do...... bail out just before the shit hits the fan.... leave Labour to sort it out whilst blaming them for the problems.

The Country is broken ..... nothing works like it should do .... Trains , Buses , Cost of electricity and Gas, Water... Border Security, Education , Home Office , Cost and Shortage of goods in the shops , lack of staff everywhere etc etc

All of which can be directly traced back to Conservative policies.

Burnham!! I suppose he has a few disasters under his belt already so he is well suited to the job.
