Loan Watch - 2025/26

Even if City have written him off, surely you cancel the loan and send him to the championship just to get him in the shop window for a sale?
Not sure if we have written him off but he is behind the other CB's on loan and not kicking a ball isn't going to help him.
The championship seems to be the best option for players going on loan as the lads at Watford, Wrexham, Stoke , Boro are getting competitive game time.
Surprising me is Callum Doyle. I know he's no longer our player but he doesn't seem to be setting the world alight at Wrexham so maybe its a case of horses for courses.

I think with reis and Bah in the mix as well, Not to mention the 5 CB's already at the club I think simpson Pusey goes next summer pretty blatantly. that said, a better loan might have got us a few extra million. We'll probably have to loan him out again now.

With Doyle, yeah I think he just moved around too much in hindsight. Maybe Im wrong but he's basically been at a new club every year since the start of his career. I don't think that's good, even if he pushed for it. Should have stayed and learnt in his younger days for me.

Along with Mubama, another doing well in champions ship

From BBC

KABORE and Liberato Cacace were relentless in the wing-back berths while Windass ended the contest with a trio of assists for the magnificent Moore

Another two goals for Mubama for the England under 21’s.Also as well as Rico Max Alleyne looks very good at left centre back.I seen him a few games now!!

Pity if out of the Afcon

Wrexham's Issa Kabore will return to parent club Manchester City to undergo rehabilitation after sustaining a hamstring injury which will keep him out for at least six weeks.

The right wing-back has been a pivotal figure under Phil Parkinson since joining the Championship side on a season-long loan deal from Pep Guardiola's outfit on transfer deadline day.

Parkinson says Burkina Faso international Kabore, 24, will be "touch and go" for the Africa Cup of Nations, which gets under way in Morocco on 19 December.

"It looks like six weeks minimum. He'll do a lot of his rehab at Manchester City. He lives close to the training ground so that makes sense," Parkinson told BBC Sport Wales.

"He'll keep popping back to see us and we'll keep communicating with him.

"He's got the Africa Cup of Nations, but it looks like he's probably going to be touch and go for that."

He’s been in the squad for every league fixture to date, but Nypan doesn’t even make the bench for Middlesbrough this afternoon. Injury perhaps or new coach decision?

Nice suffered a heavy defeat (1 v 5) at home to Marseille last night, and Bah played the full game. He has many personal strengths, but, positionally, he can look adrift at sea when playing in a back three.
