There is a god Barry's gone!!!
I never understood why they let clubs in the Premier league loan other players from the same league. With the way football is going this should be banned in all major leagues the players being able to go out on loan to other teams in the same league. I dont mind a player going from 1 country to the other with a view to a permanent move at the end of the season. If the deal doesnt work out so be it. But even loaning players out to other countries I would love to see that gone as well. If a player could only be sold to other clubs it would benefit the game more. Players will be forced to move on and those on bigger wages would be forced to take a cut in wages if they really want to play regular football.

If you look the players who wont move on from a club and just stay there or go out on loan but will see out there contract with there parent club. There should be rules that those players are told after a season you cant go out on loan again if you want to get regular football it has to be a permanent transfer to another club. I dont mind players going out to get experience of playing first team football to the lower leagues and I think thats great for those players and thats the only loans I would like to see in football.

Looking at the players City have loaned out they went to some decent clubs with money behind them. Spurs loaning Ade , Madrid before them its a joke. Between the 2 clubs they if they really want the player should have paid the money to buy him. Both clubs have the money to back there teams but for these stupid loans City would of got rid of more players than not by now. Fifa money rules come into operation soon they should of banned the loan deals as well.

you should be able to loan a player in another leagues top tier but no player should be loaned into the same league the parent club competes in.

Yep I agree no loans to teams in the same league.

Especially not Adebayor..........

Gotta agree with this. In exceptional circumstances perhaps the loan of a goalkeeper perhaps dshould be allowed but otherwise, no.

Just take us how many players are out on loan at clubs around Europe. Some of the deadwood will more than likely come back to the club. IF there was a ruling that you couldnt loan out to other top flight clubs as well then there would be more and more players knowing that they have to move. Doing so it will mean that they wont be able to force clubs hands in letting them go out on loan. IF they want to go play football then go full time and give the clubs a transfer fee. Then the other clubs will have a chance to sort out there books with the new laws.

But look at the benefits, take Joe Hart for example as the loan proved to be the making of him.
Correct. If it wasn't for the Adebayor situation and how he's helping a title rival, I doubt if this thread would have appeared.

Adebayor won't help Spurs win the title and we do not miss him at all. He isn't good or consistent enough.

No not at all. We are talking about teams who have money and rich people within there set up why should they loan a player when they have the money to buy that player? Both Madrid and Spurs had the money to pay for Ade but decided to take him on loan. Top clubs from all the major leagues shouldnt be able to bring in loan signings. IF they want a player buy him if they cant afford him or his wages then they shouldnt be able to take them on loan.
