When you look at who got elected out (as someone said) it was all geographical - and Wigan apart - it was northern teams voted out for teams south of Birmingham

Out
Workington
Barrow
Gateshead
Southport

In
Wigan
Wimbledon
Hereford
Peterborough

Cambridge United came in when Bradford PA went bust and Oxford United replaced Accrington Stanley.
As it happened, as a kid I actually saw Gateshead, Accrington, Barrow, Southport, Bradford PA and Workington. All at Boundary Park (I used to go there with my Oldham-supporting mates when City were playing away). Looking back I may have been the kiss of death for all of them :-).
I wonder of any fellow FOC Bluemooners managed to see all of these teams from the past when they were in the FL ? (Current reincarnations excluded !)

Rochdale are in 2nd position with two games to go on 102 points.

Final game could be the actual decider, against York who are currently top on 104 points.

Remarkable consistency by both sides.

Went to Rochdale yesterday, in fact I've been to quite a few of their matches this season, unfortunately it looks as though Dale are running out of steam at the wrong time. The game and performance yesterday was awful but they were bailed out by a couple of late goals. That York game on the final day could be carnage!

Been keeping an eye on Rochdale, fell apart in the last 2 weeks but they just need to get to the York game with a chance.

Still a crying shame that 2 don't go up from the conference automatically, been multiple seasons now where the top 2 deserve automatic promotion.

Bit of a mad one this, as i'm sure you all already know...

Fuck York. Plenty of stories doing the rounds of their fans being banned for going absolutely bugshit after a 96th minute winner recently (possibly v Alty). - No pitch invasions, just going bugshit.
And as a PL/EFL groundhopper I can't be arsed driving to York to visit their new ground. I've been to Spotland loads if times.

Late equalizer then an even later Rochdale winner means it's a straight shoot out at the Crown Oil.

Dale have had a few late winners recently. Knowing football fans, there's probably not a York fan anywhere utterly certain its not Rochdale's year. And not a Rochdale fan anywhere utterly certain their luck is going to run out next week. Isn't football brilliant (bloody awful)!

Bury are two points clear of Avro at the top of the Northern Prem East division with one game remaining. They also have a seven-goal GD advantage so should be promoted if they get a draw at Atherton Collieries next Saturday.

Yesterday I went to see Warrington Town v Workington. Town were two up at half-time but produced a second half performance worse than the ones we managed earlier in the season and Workington staved off the threat of relegation by winning 3-2. Their final game at Borough Park (where they used to play FL games) is next Saturday.

A shame one of the normal TV channels couldn't agree a deal with DAZN to get this game more attention.

Both teams deserve to come up, hope it's Rochdale today as they're local and look to be running out of gas a little. I think York will get through the playoffs.

Anybody know what DAZN channel it may be on for IPTV, asking for a friend as he can't find it

Yes, apart from our WSL game and Stockport nothing on of any interest. So is it on DaZn for those of us daft enough to pay subscriptions?
