So the Dale lost ?
I’m from Rochdale
Must say the match seemed to drawn the Rochdale public together.

My step daughter isn’t a football fan ,
But her fella and children plus friends are getting together to watch the match,

Bury now 2 up at Atherton. They started the day 2 points and 7 GD ahead of Avro, but Avro are 9-0 up v bottom club Darlaston. If Bury only draw then Avro would be promoted.

Appreciate it can happen at any level but I think the reason this seems to happen more in the National League is because there's not enough churn, so there are too many good teams at the top of the NL not getting the opportunity in the football league.

Demonstrated by the fact York got 90 points last year and didn't go up. I've felt since that Notts C - Wrexham match that there should be 3 going up and 3 going down. Even if the 3rd team has to go via a play-off with 22nd in League Two or something like that.
Totally agree - but you won't get turkeys to vote for Christmas so it's tough getting the EFL on board.
I liked the earlier suggestion from someone about having 4 divisions of 20 below the PL with 3 up/3 down. Some clubs can't afford to lose the revenue from 3 home games though.
*shrugs* 'tis what it is until the EFL grow a pair

I use to go Bury occasionally has I lived in Heywood,

To be truthful once they were put into lower tear lost all interest in them plus in infighting between supporters Clubs .

What league are Bury in now I know they moved up a big Since being thrown into the lower divisions wasn’t they in league 8 at one time

Bury won 3-0 and have been promoted to the Northern Premier League Premier Division. I think that's effectively level 7 and they might have restarted at level 9 or 10.
Avro finished second, beating bottom club Darlaston 13-0 which sounds a bit dodgy.
Elsewhere mini-rags lost 3-2 at Ilkeston.

So if the rag socks fail in the play offs they will be playing Bury next season

Lot of time for Bury. Great little town. Deserve a decent team

York player punches pitch invading yob

Wasn’t the best shot, squared his feet up leaving him wide open for a counter. Luckily the yob collapsed like a pack of cards so it all ends happily.

I'm guessing that he could be in trouble, irrespective of the fact that he seemed to have been momentarily pinned to the ground.
