I know, it was just a habit in calling them that - mate of mine I worked with late 80's / early 90's was Northwich born and bred and went everywhere with them (fans would travel on the team bus to subsidise travel) and I went to midweek games and Saturday games if City weren't playing. They used to have cracking pies at the Drill FieldMES, 1874 Northwich and Northwich Vics are two different teams. 1874 have only been going 5 years so this is the furthest there been in the FA cup.
County were 3-0 at half time and the Rag Socks had 86th min penalty equaliserHyde were 1-0 & 2-1 down after being reduced to 10 men in the 1st half. Injury time penalty from Beadle for his hat-trick sealed the win.
