I dont think the article was detrimental to us in any shape or form really. The fact is Samual for once ( his on line article the day before about Ferguson being a Man out of his time was awesome by the way) just barked up the wrong Tree.

Anominity is the least of Rooney's problems right now. Since he got caught being a naughty boy; the Sponsorship deals have been withdrawn. Throw into the mix the lack of ambition from the Glazers(bless!) and the likelyhood that any minute now he would be saying " yes Sir,no Sir" to David Moyes and his option for staying put dwindles.

As a Journalist he should also realise that the modern day Pemiership Footballing Superstar lives on a different Planet to the rest of us anyway.
