Yes, much nicer than the Pride and beer slightly cheaper, still a Fullers pub and they have 2 giant projection screens and are having some 19" screens installed for us-same management so you will still see the rag occasionally-he was pretty quiet yesterday though ! ;)

Nepotism reigns supreme and Daddy's Little Boy still works in the drinks service industry despite having no customer service skills or ability to understand what a Pub needs (i.e. Beer.)

I swear I'm never going to forgive them for runing Cup Final Day. Words failed me when we managed to find out they'd arranged a Club Night for 5 people despite saying it was ours until closing.

They've been lying to Tueartsboots about what is happening with The City Pride. He was originally told it was being refurbished but its actually gone back to the Brewery and they're no longer going to run out of beer or have insufficient staff on for us in there! The amount of money he brought in and they tell him bullshit again. You've been well and truly "facking magged off" by your pseudo-Italian Cockerney friends. No more free beers for you, Tony!

The Blue Anchor isn't big enough for big matches. It doesn't have enough screens and an equally good selection of drinks. I'm not convinced that somewhere not normally open at weekends is the right place. The Square Mile is dead at weekends so there's nowhere to go afterwards. All that hard work to get London based Blues together and suddenly we're back to square one.
