If you are fit enough a walk up the Monument tower is (was when I went up) a quid, good view from up there .once you've got your breath back from walking up there!
If you want a good few beers then jump on the tube and go out a little. If I was in London I'd book the last train home and after the meeting I'd go to Bethnall Green on the under ground and meet a West Ham mate in the pub Bobby Moore used to run next to the tube stop called 'The Salmon and ??? (Can't recall the last name) or the Blind Beggar around the corner where the Krays killed George Cornell.

The one outside Bethnall Green is probably the one where there was an almighty row after an early Hatton fight at the York Hall. The same day City were at Tottenham, so a lot stayed on in London to watch the fight. As much action in the boozer as there was on the bill.
