Long throw

If yer want a throw in, that Uruguayan last night had one heck of a throw. Bet he could get it to the other touchline with a bit of practice. That ability would bugger up defences instead of all squashing in a corner yer could have AJ on t'other wing and get a 50 yard thrown pass, BANG.

as harry enfield would say oi de crap naoooo, football is played with your feet not fifty foot in the air?

Its fuckin awful to watch, shows just how limited a team must be to employ them tactics(see stoke)IMO

Any tactic to put the opposition under pressure is a good tactic IMO.

As long as it's used as needs must, and not all the time, I think it is just another option/string in our bow.

I'd much rather we learned what to do with throw ins full stop. City have always been awful at it.

When we have a throw in, nobody ever seems to be able to find space and 90% of the time we give the ball away. When defending a throw in, we give the opposing team tomes of space to put the ball in to.

It infuriates me. Nobody has ever been able to sort it out.

This is stoke who we drew with twice, beat once and lost to... I think the tactic works even if it is a awful to watch.
