You can't play a major final after the players have had months of not playingWith so many seemingly insurmountable issues over holding the existing final in Istanbul, and also alternatives such as Wembly, why not just shift the date of the final, put it back to later in the summer in Istanbul? A time when Covid should be less of an issue everywhere. at the same time book Wembley as a back up location. That way, Istanbul, Turkey and UEFA gets the final as planned, date apart. Fans will have their chance to attend in their thousands, hopefully unencumbered by impracticable regulations.

I have done the same, although Porto instead of Milton Keys.Refundable Premier Inn booked for 3 nights, for 116 quid.
Thats London, Istanbul, Lisbon, Cardiff, Milton Keyes covered … anywhere else ?
booked the Lisbon flights as well.

That was a party political statement from the ‘change the thread party!’It’s not surprising that there are not many European countries on the green list, if you've stolen their vaccines. Of course, this list was not to be announced before the elections.

Yeah, I know we weren’t in it but back in the year we won the Division 2 play-off the Championship play-off was the following day on the bank holiday Monday. I checked and it is now on the Saturdaywe wern't in it - we were in the Division 2 play off (to get back into the championship) which was on the Sunday. Championship play off is still on the Monday afaik

So it is. It’s changed from when we were in it. The Championship play off final used to be on the bank holiday Monday
I remember a couple seasons ago, the championship play off final and champs league final were on the same day as I did a double, villa and real Madrid

BA cancelled my Istanbul flights (that gets me a refund :) ) … just cancelled hotel :( …. They better move the final now ! I want a chance of being there, with or without a ticket.
