Was wondering what the longest run of games you've ever known of is, or just general tales on the biggest Blues you know?

I once worked with a guy who didn't miss a competitive City game in nearly thirty years. Put his matchgoing duties before work, his wife, kids, etc, even missed one being born. Just before his thirty year milestone his daughter was getting married, he suddenly softened and missed a Derby of all games.

Know one Blue who hasn't missed a home game in twenty years.

I imagine neither of these feats are at all uncommon.

It's a bit of a strange phenomenon for me. Some years i've had season tickets, others years memberships. I can never not take an interest in a game we're playing, so even when on holiday i have to find somewhere to watch or listen to games, but planning your entire life around games must take an enormous amount of dedication. I'm terrible, i've missed games because of hangovers, the weather, etc, etc.

Wasn't there a presentation a couple of years ago to someone who'd not missed a single game, including pre-season friendlies, for 10 years?

Impressive stuff, I thought I was doing well with 21 on the bounce between October and January but ran out of holidays at work so missed the second leg vs West Ham. That's child's play compared to some guys though.

Hats off to the above mentioned records, would love if money and time allowed for that.

Did every league game once 3 seasons back, best i can offer

My younger brother 12 years home and away every game, including Europe , with posable 5 matches in total missed in last 18. he had the luxury of being Hellen the bells runner and carrier to get him started in his early years. Only to hove his run stopped by some DIY accident he was doing before the home game to the dippers a few years back although he claims this game as we went to the ground before we decided we really needed to get him to the hospital, run came to a halt when we couldn't get travel at any reasonable price to that faro island team, so he really has let himself go and missed about 4 home, away, Europe, in the last 5/6 years

He been in a bad way lately and was put In hospital the other week, the fkr only agreed to stay in if I agreed to abducted him for the Watford game the other week.

Quite funny breaking him out for the match in a wheelchair, then returning head between his legs " what ? just went for a cig nurse"

I did 12 years, covering the whole of the 80's. I was obviously younger, free and single in those days, it was a lot cheaper and there was always a minibus full for most away games. I know some who have done longer.

Did every game home and away for a couple of seasons in the early 80s, then i got married still manage to visit more than my fair share of grounds and somehow still married,it must be love.

He's a friend of a friend, and his whole life is City.

I can't remember how many years he's gone without missing any sort of first team game, it's a long time as you say, and needless to say he's got a black seasoncard.

His house is a shrine to City as well.

Every spare penny he earns goes towards watching City.

Personally, I think there is more to life than watching football, but it's his money at the end of the day and it's what he wants to do.

There's a guy knocking about I think he's called Sean. He's not missed a game home or away since Blackburn away on the day of the Hillsborough disaster,
